Free Vinyl Noise Samples From 99 Sounds

Posted by Juice God on

All of the real music heads know that vinyl sounds are characteristic to hip-hop tracks. The crackles, pops, warps, scratches, and noises of vinyl are signature to the old school rap sound. These sounds are some of the hardest to imitate. If you want the real vinyl sound, you have to go straight to the source.

99 Sounds collaborated with artist Matoto to create this free vinyl noise sample library. This awesome sound pack features 37 audio samples consisting of various vinyl noises. Matoto used a Numark TTUSB turntable and Audacity to record each one of the sounds. All of the records used were from the 1950's, 70's, and 80's. The sounds in the pack are normalized but that's it. No reverb, delays, EQ, or phasers were added.

You can use these sounds with any DAW that is compatible with WAVs. The vinyl library comes in a Kontakt Library and Soundfont too.

The sounds are completely free to use in commercial or recreational productions. You just aren't allowed to sell them in another sample library or virtual instrument. Click here to download the free Vinyl Noise Samples!
